A statewide recall election against Gov. Scott Walker could cost $9 million or more, election officials estimate.
The state Government Accountability Board on Friday released its estimate of the costs of a possible first-ever statewide recall election. The estimates included both the state elections agency's own expected costs together with a survey estimating the costs for local governments.
